SUMMARY :

Contract Manager (School Facility - Durban)

POSITION INFO :

We are currently recruiting for a Contract Manager for a School Facillity to oversee all cleaning operations, leading staff, managing supplies, ensuring health / safety compliance (like), scheduling tasks (rosters), and maintaining equipment to provide a hygienic, positive learning environment for students and staff, handling everything from routine floor care to deep cleaning. Key Responsibilities :

  • Staff Supervision : Lead, train, and schedule cleaning teams, creating duty rosters.
  • Operations Management : Coordinate daily cleaning, manage equipment, materials, and stock levels.
  • Health & Safety : Implement and enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards for a safe school environment.
  • Maintenance : Ensure up-keep of school facilities, including kitchens, bathrooms, and grounds.
  • Reporting : Generate reports and track cleaning progress.
Skills & Knowledge Needed :
  • Must have atleast 5 years experience working in the Cleaning Industry as a Contracts Manager.
  • Knowledge of cleaning industry standards, equipment, and supplies.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations (HSE).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or facilities management.
