Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Manager.

Responsibilities

• Supervising teams and sub-contractors to ensure optimal efficiency and high-quality service.
• Assisting with ordering and obtaining supplies.
• Scheduling equipment maintenance.
• Managing employees.
• Overseeing and coordinating every aspect of a project from planning until completion.

Qualifications

• Experience with sheet metal.
• Experience in lagging, insulation & cladding (beneficial).
• Higher education in construction management / building studies, quantity surveying or related.
• Health & Safety Training essential.
• Computer literate.
• Industrial Relations skills (handling staff effectively, discipline, etc).
• Ability to understand and communicate in English and Afrikaans.
• Proven experience of at least 3+ years working as a Contracts Manager / Supervisor or related management experience, especially in the Construction Industry.
• Experience in working with large teams.
• Health and Safety Management experience.
• Experience interpreting engineering plans and drawings.
• Scaffolding erecting experience (advantageous).
• Working at heights experience (advantageous).
