Job Function

Focuses on analyzing operational processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service levels. Uses data-driven insights and methodologies to streamline workflows, optimize inventory management, and support initiatives. The role involves monitoring KPIs, leading improvement projects, and driving a culture of continuous improvement through training and change management, ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently and meets business objectives.

Key Accountabilities
  • Identify and implement improvements to workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to drive decision-making.
  • Develop strategies to reduce operational costs without compromising service quality.
  • Establish and monitor key metrics such as order accuracy, cycle time, and productivity.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement projects from planning to execution.
  • Assess and implement tools or systems that enhance operations.
  • Facilitate staff training and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all process changes adhere to regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
  • Own and live up to the company values.
  • Provide operational system support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or equivalent 3-year degree (NQF Level 7).
Skills and Experience
  • Up to 3 years of experience in FMCG, logistics, or transport operations, with at least 1 year tactical supervisory / specialist experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, JDA / Proteas (will be advantageous).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Good verbal ability and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to manage teams.
