Seeking a Content Writer to join the ranks and craft world‑class communications for our community and players. As part of the Support, Safety, and Playtest Team, you will create clear, informative, and engaging content for the client and empower their frontline agent team with technical and game knowledge. This is not a direct agent role, but you’ll work behind the scenes to ensure our agents and players have the best possible information and guidance.

You’ll collaborate closely with our Support Program Manager, developers, and production teams to write player-facing content such as patch notes, troubleshooting guides, and known-issues updates. You’ll also help identify and communicate solutions for PC and console hardware troubleshooting, ensuring players can get back into the game quickly. Understanding player-reported issues and translating them into actionable, clear communication is at the heart of this role.

The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of first-person shooters, gaming hardware, game development processes, and exceptional writing skills. You know what players need, how they think, and how to speak their language.

Placement Type: Temporary

Salary: $30-35 Hourly

Responsibilities
  • Write, build, and publish player‑facing educational content for the client, including patch notes, troubleshooting guides, and known issues.
  • Develop new opportunities for player education and proactive support content.
  • Research and source accurate details from developers, production, and other studio partners.
  • Support writing and copy‑editing needs for knowledge base content, social channels, and internal documentation.
  • Provide review and editorial support for public‑facing content to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to shape content strategy, planning, and publishing timelines.

  • Deep understanding of first‑person shooter mechanics, gaming hardware, and game development processes.
  • Strong technical aptitude for PC and console hardware troubleshooting and the ability to communicate steps effectively.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging patch notes, release notes, and troubleshooting guides.

Pluses
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms for knowledge base publishing.
  • Experience creating and publishing digital content in the games or entertainment space.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with JIRA & Confluence.
