Somerce is a TikTok Shop Agency hiring a Content Editor to support video edit and delivery. This hands-on role thrives in the edit suite, with on-camera confidence for lighting and audio basics, delivering platform-ready content at speed.

You'll edit for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, create direct-response ads, repurpose long-form footage, and manage a high-volume workflow across UK brands with hybrid offices in London and Manchester.

Qualifications

• Proven track record self-shooting and self-editing short-form content with showreel/portfolio.
• Strong editing skills across Premiere Pro, DaVinci, CapCut; After Effects a plus.
• Eye for TikTok-native, platform-first content over repurposed TV ads.
• Confident directing on camera, basic lighting and audio skills, fast turnaround.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form social content for TikTok, Reels, Shorts.
• Produce UGC-style and direct-response ads built to convert.
• Turn footage from live sessions into polished, platform-ready videos.
• Manage end-to-end editing: selection, assembly, sound, color, captions, motion graphics, delivery.
• Repurpose long-form footage into a steady stream of clips.
• Maintain posting cadence per content calendar and stay on trend.

Somerce is a TikTok Shop Agency working with 70+ global brands across beauty, FMCG and wellness. We're hiring a Content Editor to support with video edit and delivery. This is a hands-on creative role for someone who lives in the edit suite and is just as comfortable behind a camera.

What you'll do

• Edit short-form social content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
• Produce UGC-style and direct-response adverts for paid social, built to convert, not just to look good
• Turn footage from live commerce sessions, studio shoots and events into polished, platform-ready videos.
• Handle the editing process from footage selection and assembly through to sound, colour correction, captions, light motion graphics and final delivery.
• Repurpose long-form footage (keynotes, lives, podcasts) into a steady stream of short-form clips
• Keep a consistent posting cadence against a content calendar
• Stay ahead of platform formats and trends and bring ideas to the table, not just execute briefs

What we're looking for

• A proven track record self-shooting and self-editing short-form content, with a showreel or portfolio to back it up
• Strong editing skills (Premiere Pro, DaVinci, CapCut or similar; After Effects a plus)
• A real eye for TikTok-native, platform-first content rather than repurposed TV ads
• Confidence directing on camera and handling lighting and audio basics solo
• Comfort working at high volume and fast turnaround without dropping quality
• Self-starter who can use the initiative to edit without hand holding
