Job summary

Amrod in Gauteng seeks a reliable Container Offloader to safely offload containers, sort stock, and transfer items into the receiving process in accordance with company procedures. The role supports efficient warehouse operations, upholding productivity, accuracy, safety and housekeeping standards.

Applicants should have Grade 12, 2+ years’ experience, good English communication, basic computer literacy and be physically fit to perform manual handling duties.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar working environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties.

Responsibilities

• Offload containers safely and efficiently.
• Sort and organise stock according to receiving procedures.
• Perform general receiving duties as required.
• Handle goods carefully to prevent damage and stock losses.
• Capture and complete receiving transactions accurately on Amtrack and/or other relevant systems.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and workplace organisation.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Assist in other warehouse positions or departments when required.
