How can you make a difference?

Objectives
  • To strengthen the quality of year‑end country office report and donor reports, ensuring compliance with UNICEF reporting standards.
  • To ensure lessons learned from collective reflection of the office through the annual review meeting are well captured and documented, as part of knowledge management.
  • To support the quality review of evidence products generated from research and studies across the office, and ensure the continuity of quality standards applied for all integrated monitoring, evaluation and research plan (IMERP) activities.
Key Tasks

To achieve the stated objectives, the consultant will carry out the following tasks:

Reporting
  • Support at least two rounds of quality review of Results Assessment Module (RAM) narrative for 2025 year‑end reporting, including 23 outputs.
  • Support quality assurance of 15–20 donor reports due between November 2025 and April 2026.
Knowledge Management
  • Support other knowledge‑management related tasks as needed, such as documentation of annual review meeting, etc.
Evidence Generation (research and studies)
  • Support the quality assurance of research products, as this year marks the end of biannual 2024–2025 IMERP. Multiple knowledge products will be generated from the IMERP activities, requiring intensified quality assurance support to ensure quality deliverables.
  • This consultancy is home‑based with no travel involved.
Minimum Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in quality assurance of reporting, and evidence/knowledge products.
  • Demonstrated experience of engaging in UNICEF end‑of‑year reporting processes, including contributions to RAM, annual reports, or strategic reflections is preferred.
  • Exposure to various approaches of effective knowledge management and sharing is an asset.
  • Strong management and coordination skills to work under pressure and deliver high‑quality products are assets.
  • Fluency in both oral and written English.
  • Two concise writing examples (preferably published in UN system) need to be shared along with application.
