Overview

Construction Supervisor – Location: Polokwane (Lephalale); Type: Contractor; Reporting to: Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure site compliance with applicable construction regulations
• Supervise subcontractors
• Interact with client on construction and installation matters
• Plan construction activities
• Track and report progress
• Maintain Non-conformances to minimum
• Assist in risk management
• Hand over completed installations
• Manage materials and inventory on site

Requirements

• N6 Technical Qualification in either Electrical, Electrons, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years\' experience in construction industry medium to large projects
• Prior experience in control and instrumentation type projects and ideally in the power plant industry
• Must have experience in dealing with contracts and ideally NEC
• Must have a clear understanding and knowledge of construction regulations stipulated by the OHS act and the DOL. Prior experience of such in a Project.
