Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer on road maintenance or construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and relevant construction regulations.
• Valid and current SACPCMP registration required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain site-specific health and safety plans.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations.
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to staff and contractors.
• Monitor and report on safety performance.
