Position Overview

We are seeking a purpose-driven Construction Project Manager with PrCPM SACPCMP registration to join our consulting engineering firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and multidisciplinary engineering design and construction teams
• Oversee project planning, execution, and close-out phases
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including:
  • Project Management Plans
  • Project Execution Plans
  • Project Programmes
  • Implementation Plans
  • Works Order Briefs
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with project specifications
• Coordinate stakeholder inputs and ensure timely task execution

Candidate Profile

• Registered PrCPM with SACPCMP (non-negotiable)
• Proven experience in civil and construction engineering project management
• Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and technical teams
• Passion for mentoring and knowledge transfer

Qualifications

• Qualifying Undergraduate Degree in the Built Environment (e.g. BSc, BEng, Construction Management, QS, etc.)
• PrCPM with SACPCMP (Essential)
• A valid driver's license is essential and MUST be able to drive to site.
• Must be medically fit and willing to work on construction sites.

Proficiency in

Experience

• 8 years post-graduation experience in project management of municipal infrastructure

Knowledge Areas

• Knowledge of the management and design of solid waste management, infrastructure including lined disposal facilities, refuse transfer stations, etc. (Advantageous)
• Knowledge of municipal environment and processes associated with these environments, (Essential)
• Knowledge of construction project management principles, (Essential)
• Knowledge of construction administration including GCC, JBCC or FIDIC suits of contracts (NEC Advantageous)
