Job summary

Shift Pursuit Pty seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead on-site delivery of renewable energy projects from the Midrand office. The ideal candidate will have strong construction management experience across EPC, infrastructure, power or renewable energy projects, with proven exposure to large-scale project execution.

You will manage on-site activities, lead teams and subcontractors, drive execution to schedule and budget, uphold HSE standards, and coordinate with engineering,

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ construction management experience.
• Experience within EPC, infrastructure, power or renewable energy projects.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities for renewable energy projects.
• Lead construction teams, subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Drive project execution in line with schedules, budgets, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Maintain high HSE standards across project sites.
• Monitor construction progress and implement corrective actions.
• Identify and manage construction risks and challenges.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, HSE and Commissioning teams.
• Ensure construction milestones and deliverables are achieved.
• Provide regular progress reports to management and stakeholders.
• Support commissioning, testing and final handover.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Qualifications:

• National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ construction management experience.
• Experience within EPC, infrastructure, power or renewable energy projects.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Renewable Energy Experience:

• Proven experience delivering Solar PV, Wind Energy and/or BESS projects.
• Experience with substations and transmission infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project controls and site management.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and large site teams.
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
