Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator in the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, Procore or RSMeans.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine scope and materials.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Develop competitive bid proposals for construction projects.
• Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely bids.
• Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.

Description:

Hire Resolve's client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Construction Estimator in Pretoria. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of construction projects and providing timely and competitive bids to clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine the scope of work and materials required.

5. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Professional certification (e.g. Certified Professional Estimator) is a plus.
