In this challenging role you will require the following :
Develop and implement commercial strategies for construction projects and the overall business unit.
Drive revenue growth through effective pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and identification of new business opportunities.
Oversee project costs, budgets, and financial performance, ensuring projects are completed within allocated resources.
Manage all commercial aspects of contracts, including negotiations, variations, and dispute resolution.
Identify and mitigate commercial risks associated with projects, including contractual, financial, and legal risks.
Manage and mentor a team of commercial professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve commercial objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
Prepare and present regular commercial performance reports to senior management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant construction legislation, regulations, and company policies.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong commercial focus,
In-depth knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, JBCC, etc.) and experience in handling claims and disputes.
Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage performance, and develop commercial talent.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Ability to analyze complex commercial issues and develop effective solutions.
