Qualifications

• 3 years proven work experience as a bookkeeper or accountant in construction.
• Proficient with QuickBooks or Sage and related financial software.
• Strong understanding of construction project costs and budgets.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for construction projects.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments promptly.
• Prepare monthly financial reports including P&L statements and balance sheets.
• Monitor project budgets and track expenses.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
• Assist with tax preparation and filing.
