Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparation and management of external audits across the Group
- Statutory records of all group entities (CIPC)
- Maintaining accounting records and recordkeeping of Group entities
- Preparation of annual financial statements of all Group entities
- Performing consolidation and preparation of consolidated annual financial statements
- Monthly consolidation of entities for group reporting purposes
- Ensure timely and accurate daily cashflow requirements and cashflow reports
- Adhere to timely treasury investment instructions
- Monthly reporting of operating costs
- Compliance with tax legislation and SARS compliance, including PAYE, VAT and Income Tax for Group entities
- Preparation and distribution of monthly management accounts of subsidiary companies
- Preparation of annual budgets for subsidiary companies
- Implement, enforce and adhere to adequate and strong internal financial controls
- Ensure that all corporate compliance within finance environment is adhered to
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Accounting Degree
- Completed SAICA / SAIPA Articles
- Must have strong consolidations experience
- Insurance experience would be an advantage
- SAP experience would be an advantage
- IFRS 17 knowledge and experience would be an advantage
