Job summary

Affirmative Portfolios in Cape Town is seeking a Conservation Officer on a contract basis to lead environmental rehabilitation and restoration efforts across rivers, wetlands, and biodiversity corridors. You will plan, implement, monitor and report on projects, coordinating field teams and ensuring compliance with environmental standards.

The role requires a relevant degree in Environmental Management, Project Management or Nature Conservation, 2–3 years of related experience, strong MS Office

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in environmental management, conservation, biodiversity management, ecological restoration, natural resource management or environmental project implementation.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to supervise field teams.

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Conservation Officer to join their team on a contract basis! As the Conservation Officer, you will play a critical role in environmental and restoration projects. The projects involve the rehabilitation and restoration of rivers, wetlands, vleis, biodiversity corridors and associated public open spaces. The Conservation officer will provide critical support in the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of environmental projects and programmes.
