Hospitality Hire has partnered with a leading safari & hospitality group to recruit an experienced Concierge for their luxury lodge in the Western Cape.

This is a live-in position and an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of delivering exceptional guest experiences in a world-renowned Big 5 safari destination.

As the Concierge, you will be the go-to person for guests, ensuring every detail of their stay is curated to perfection - from warm welcomes and personalised itineraries to facilitating seamless services and recommending unforgettable activities.

The Role

You will act as the central point of contact for guests, delivering bespoke service and ensuring every request is anticipated and exceeded. This role requires confidence, professionalism, and the ability to engage high-end clients while maximising revenue through thoughtful upselling of lodge facilities, activities, and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide personalised attention throughout their stay
• Create tailored itineraries, recommend activities, and handle special requests
• Upsell lodge facilities, spa treatments, transfers, and excursions
• Coordinate with lodge departments to ensure smooth service delivery
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve any issues promptly and discreetly
• Maintain strong knowledge of the lodge, safari offerings, and surrounding attractions
• Ensure guest feedback is captured and addressed to enhance service standards

What Were Looking For

• Previous experience as a Concierge, Guest Relations Officer, or similar high-end hospitality role
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Confidence in engaging with discerning, international guests
• Strong ability to upsell and promote lodge offerings naturally and effectively
• Knowledge of luxury hospitality and safari lodge operations
• Well-presented, professional, and able to work under pressure
• Willingness to live on-site at the lodge in the Western Cape
