A leading aerospace company is seeking a Composite Planner to oversee material planning and utilization. This role involves collaborating with design teams, sourcing materials, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Candidates should have formal training in composite materials and experience in manufacturing environments. The position is full-time and in-person located in Gauteng, South Africa.
The Composite Planner is responsible for overseeing and managing the strategic planning and utilization of composite materials, such as fiberglass, carbon fiber, and reinforced polymers, in the manufacturing process at the Midrand Campus.
This role ensures the efficient allocation of materials to meet project specifications, optimize resource usage, and support production timelines while maintaining high standards of quality and cost‑effectiveness.
By collaborating with cross‑functional teams and staying informed on industry advancements, the Composite Planner drives innovation and operational excellence in composite material applications.
The Composite Planner leverages in‑depth knowledge of composite materials, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in project and inventory management tools to support the Production Business Unit's objectives.
This role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving, ensuring operational success in a manufacturing environment.
