Job summary

Buraaq Mining is seeking a skilled technician to diagnose, repair and refurbish mining equipment components on-site and in workshops. You will perform testing and quality checks, ensuring adherence to OEM standards and ISO quality procedures.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of hands-on repair experience in mining or heavy equipment, with expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Trade Test or National Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• 3-5 years hands-on experience in component repairs, preferably in mining/heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems; familiarity with OEM standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and refurbish critical mining equipment components.
• Conduct testing, inspections and quality control on rebuilt parts.
• Collaborate with Field Service to deliver on-site solutions and reports.
• Support R&D initiatives on component innovation and performance optimization.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Trade Test / National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 3-5 years hands‑on experience in component repairs (mining/heavy equipment preferred).
• Diagnose, repair, and refurbish critical mining equipment components (hydraulic, drivetrain, drilling & bolting equipment).
• Conduct testing, inspections, and quality control on rebuilt components.
• Collaborate with the Field Service Department to provide responsive on-site solutions.
• Support research & development initiatives by contributing technical expertise on component innovation and performance optimization.
• Maintain detailed service records and provide regular progress reports to clients
• Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Familiar with OEM standards and ISO quality procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and deliver efficient solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Medically fit and Own transport.
