Job summary

The Financial Intelligence Centre in Gauteng is seeking a dedicated Compliance Systems Analyst to implement, monitor and enhance compliance systems, registration and data reporting in line with the FIC Act.

You will design and maintain a reporting framework, collaborate with ICT, develop tools for risk assessment and enforcement, and contribute to monitoring, testing and continuous improvement of compliance controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, IS or CS required; strong analytical skills.
• Microsoft Data Analyst Certification preferred.
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Certification advantageous.
• SAS or SQL Certification beneficial.
• 3 Years in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science.
• 3 Years in Microsoft SQL Coding.
• 2 Years in Anti-money Laundering monitoring.
• 2 Years in compliance and prevention.
• 2 Years in Power BI or SSRS Development.
• Knowledge of Open-Source Intelligence Collection and scripting languages.
• Technical Documentation and Procedure Development.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business units to gather requirements and enhance compliance oversight.
• Implement and maintain a reporting framework for risk assessment and compliance monitoring.
• Identify enhancements to improve data reporting for compliance oversight.
• Develop diagnostic tools and applications for predictive analysis and enforcement.
• Collaborate with ICT to design system controls and monitoring.
