Job description

Own the day-to-day finance operations for theGroup (multiple legal entities), including payroll, billing and collections, detailed project costing, month-end close, statutory compliance (employee taxes, skills development levy, unemployment insurance contributions, value-added tax, provisional company income tax and annual company income tax), and cash-flow forecasting.

Produce timely and accurate management information and strengthen internal controls in partnership with the Finance Director.

Maintain an audit-ready client-prepared file throughout the year and improve policies, processes and system integrations (Sage Accounting, PaySpace payroll and Beyond Attendance).

Key Duties / Responsibilities

• Payroll administration — 20%
• Client billing and accounts receivable — 10%
• Budgeting and project cost tracking — 25%
• Month-end close and reconciliations — 15%
• Value-added tax and company income tax compliance — 8%
• Financial policies, internal controls and audit readiness — 7%
• Treasury and cash-flow forecasting — 15%
