Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Community Outreach Coordinator to enhance our presence in the George community. This role focuses on building relationships with local organizations, NGOs, government bodies, and residents to identify needs and promote engagement from our George office and across the Western Cape.

You will design and implement outreach programs, gather feedback, prepare impact reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Proven experience in community outreach, program coordination, or public relations.
• Excellent networking, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, both remotely and in person.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with the social and economic landscape of the Western Cape is an advantage.
