Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Community Outreach Worker to connect with underserved populations in Mahikeng and facilitate access to essential services. You will bridge the gap between the community and available resources, promoting engagement and participation within a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, proven community engagement experience, and excellent communication and listening skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in community engagement or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach activities to identify individuals and families in need of support.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with community members, leaders, and local organizations.
• Provide information and referrals to clients regarding social services, healthcare, employment, and educational opportunities.
• Assist clients in navigating systems and accessing resources.
• Organize and participate in community events and awareness campaigns.
• Collect data on outreach activities and client needs to inform program development.
