Job summary

Placements24 in Port Elizabeth is seeking a Community Mobilizer to empower residents and foster active participation in neighbourhood initiatives. You will work with community members, leaders, and stakeholders to identify needs, build capacity, and inspire collective action for positive social change in the Eastern Cape.

This hands-on role requires passion for grassroots development, strong communication, and a commitment to empowering communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in community development, social work, or organizing.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse people.

This role is dedicated to empowering local residents and fostering active participation in initiatives that improve their neighborhoods. You will work directly with community members, local leaders, and stakeholders to identify needs, build capacity, and inspire collective action towards positive social change in the Eastern Cape . This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about grassroots development and community empowerment.

Key Responsibilities
