Job Summary

Community Experience Coordinator – The role ensures that School Space’s customers, both community users and schools, have an outstanding experience. You will meet customers on school sites, manage bookings, address issues, and support Community Connectors to deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities
  • Site Operations & Security – Open, secure, and lock down school sites; maintain safe, clean spaces for all lettings activity.
  • Customer Experience & Communications – Be the face of School Space during lettings, answer online queries escalated by Community Connectors, resolve issues via email or phone, manage booking amendments, and handle T&C breaches.
  • Community Connector & Scheduling Support – Provide phone and chat support to Community Connectors across all schools; support staff scheduling, check rotas, and ensure shift cover.

  • Strong communication skills – confident, adaptable tone, clear updates.
  • Reliability – especially for site security and out-of-hours operations.
  • Problem‑solving confidence – manage last‑minute changes and customer movements.
  • Organisational ability – manage bookings, follow processes, keep systems updated.

Benefits & Conditions

£15 per hour (≈ £29,250 per annum). Hours: 15–32 per week, weekday 16:30–23:00, weekend 7:00–23:00. Contract: Permanent, Flexible.

Location: Across all school sites (cluster‑based). Preferred start: Week commencing 12 January 2026 (training week 5 January 2026).
