Placements24 is seeking a vibrant Community Engagement Specialist to foster meaningful connections and drive participation in Upington initiatives. You will understand community needs, build trust, and mobilize residents to engage with the organization’s services and programs in the Northern Cape.

The role focuses on delivering outreach campaigns, organizing meetings, and collaborating with local leaders to expand program reach and impact in a grassroots setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in community engagement, public relations, or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to connect with and mobilize diverse community groups.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities.
• Knowledge of the Northern Cape region and its communities is an advantage.
• Passion for community development and the mission of charitable organizations.
