Job summary

Africa Clinical Research Network - ACRN in South Africa seeks a field-based professional to support clinical trial recruitment and investigator engagement. The role focuses on establishing Clinresco Centres and developing relationships with investigators and sponsors to ensure study viability.

You will conduct medical practice visits, run health outreach programmes, collect participant data, and assist with nursing tasks at Clinresco facilities. Qualifications include Matric and S.A.

Responsibilities

• Visiting medical practices to recruit investigators and identify potential trial subjects.
• Lead health outreach programmes at pharmacies, old age homes, clinics, hospitals and centres.
• Interact with potential subjects and collect patient information per study protocol.
• Know enrollment criteria and study protocols for currently enrolling studies.
• Assist with nursing support activities at Clinresco facilities when required.

• Active recruitment of study patients in compliance with inclusion and exclusion criteria of a clinical trial study to ensure the financial viability of the company.
• Establishing Clinresco Centres as an independent centre for performing approved clinical trials to current and potential investigators (Grow relations with investigators)
• Identifying and interaction with existing and potential pharmaceutical sponsors
• Cost effective involvement in health outreach activities in compliance with applicable laws regulations and ethical guidelines

What you'll do

• Medical practice visitation and interaction to recruit potential trial investigators and support existing investigators to identify potential trial subjects
• Health Outreach Programmes conducted at pharmacies, old age homes, clinics, hospitals and commercial centres
• Interacting with potential trial subjects and obtaining patient information (completion of “Personal Disclosure Form”) applicable to identified studies
• Acquiring an in-depth knowledge and understanding of currently enrolling studies with a focus on the inclusion and exclusion criteria as stated in the approved study protocol.
• Assisting with certain nursing support activities at Clinresco facilities when required
