A culinary company in Cape Town is seeking a Commis to assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef. Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to recipes and standards set by the company. Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in the kitchen. Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies. Collaborate with the team to create new and innovative menu items. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and dietary restrictions. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance culinary skills and knowledge. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
