The driver will plan optimal routes, conduct pre-trip inspections, secure cargo, and maintain detailed driving and delivery records. A clean driving record, Code 14 license with PDP, and GPS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 14 driver\'s license and PDP.
• 3–5 years of experience driving heavy trucks, with long-haul/ regional routes.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all national and provincial regulations.
• Plan and navigate optimal routes for timely delivery and pickup of goods.
• Conduct thorough inspections of trucks and trailers before, during, and after trips.
• Securely load and unload cargo, verifying manifests and ensuring product integrity.
• Maintain detailed records of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
• Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays promptly to dispatch.

Requirements
