Job Description
- Draft commercial agreements according to the requirements of RMS and other operational subsidiaries.
- Provide commercial legal advice to various internal stakeholders.
- Support the Corporate Legal Counsel in providing legal assistance to the investment and corporate finance teams.
- Manage the outsourcing of any legal work that may be required.
- Conduct legal research where necessary.
- Provide reports to all relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure that all high-risk compliance risk management processes are in place for the relevant area of responsibility.
Qualifications
- LLB Degree
- Admitted as attorney in the Republic of South Africa
- 5 to 8 years post-qualification experience
- A deep understanding of the Companies Act and JSE Listing Requirements.
- Experience in general corporate law and commercial law – including strong drafting experience.
