Job Description

• Draft commercial agreements according to the requirements of RMS and other operational subsidiaries.
• Provide commercial legal advice to various internal stakeholders.
• Support the Corporate Legal Counsel in providing legal assistance to the investment and corporate finance teams.
• Manage the outsourcing of any legal work that may be required.
• Conduct legal research where necessary.
• Provide reports to all relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that all high-risk compliance risk management processes are in place for the relevant area of responsibility.

Qualifications

• LLB Degree
• Admitted as attorney in the Republic of South Africa
• 5 to 8 years post-qualification experience
• A deep understanding of the Companies Act and JSE Listing Requirements.
• Experience in general corporate law and commercial law – including strong drafting experience.
