In this role, you'll be at the centre of the claims process — supporting brokers, liaising with insurers, and ensuring clients receive exceptional service from notification to settlement.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Claims Administration & Coordination
    Manage the full claims administration process for commercial lines (motor and non-motor), ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance at every stage.
    Register, monitor, and update claims across various insurers, maintaining detailed records of progress and outcomes.
    Track recoveries, manage follow-ups, and ensure all supporting documentation is submitted promptly.
  • Client & Broker Support
    Work closely with brokers to provide accurate updates on claim statuses and assist with client communication where needed.
    Liaise with insurers and assessors to drive the resolution of complex claims and achieve timely settlements.
    Deliver outstanding client service through proactive communication and problem-solving.
  • Data Management & Reporting
    Maintain and update client portfolios, fleet lists, CRM records, and shared Google Drive folders with complete and current claims information.
    Pile regular claims reports and analytics to support management, brokers, and insurer relationships.
  • Process Improvement
    Contribute to the design and ongoing improvement of the claims system to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
    Identify areas where workflows can be optimised to better support clients and internal teams.
  • Professional Development
    Stay up to date on insurance regulations, products, and best practices.
    Participate in training sessions to maintain compliance and expand technical knowledge.
  • Ad-Hoc Support
    Assist the claims department and management with additional tasks as required, maintaining a collaborative and solutions-driven attitude.
Desired Experience & Qualification

Matric Certificate (essential)
FSCA Compliant (essential)
RE and NQF4 qualification highly advantageous (depending on date of first appointment)
Minimum of 3 year's experience in commercial lines claims (motor and non-motor)
Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills
