Dante Group Pty Ltd. is seeking a Senior Commercial Attorney / Head of Department in Pretoria to lead a team of lawyers in Corporate and Commercial law.

The role requires extensive experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, due diligence, and tax-related matters for complex client matters. Ideal candidates will be Admitted Attorneys with 6–10 years post-articles experience, strong commercial, company and tax law expertise, and the ability to engage with regulatory bodies during mergers

Qualifikationen

• LLB and admitted attorney status with 6–10 years in corporate/commercial law.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
• Familiarity with B-BBEE, mergers, due diligence, and regulatory bodies.

• Provide senior-level advice in commercial, company and tax law for clients.
• Review and structure business transactions; oversee due diligence investigations.
• Advise on mergers, regulatory compliance and interactions with SARS/Competition Commission.

A well-established Law Firm in Brooklyn is looking for a Senior Commercial Attorney / Head of Department to join their team.
Salary: Market Related based on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

• LLB
• Diploma or other Qualification in Tax (or be prepared to enroll for course)
• Admitted Attorney
• 6 - 10 Years post articles experience in relevant fields of Corporate and Commercial Law
• Excellent Commercial, Company and Tax Law experience in a law firm
• At least minimum of 6 years' experience in drafting and amending Contracts, negotiating on Complex legal terms on behalf of clients, legal due diligence investigations.
• Reviewing and overseeing business transactions, including B-BBEE structuring and restructuring
• Mergers with the Competition Commission and anticipating legal considerations of clients
• Engage with SARS officials and Competition Commission officials
