You will perform pre-trip inspections, load and unload cargo, maintain driving records, and communicate with dispatch to manage routes and delays.

Qualifications

• Valid South African Code 14 driver's license and PDP.
• Minimum of 5 years' professional Code 14 driving with long-distance experience.
• Clean driving record with no major infringements or accidents.
• Knowledge of SA road networks and trucking routes.
• Ability to work independently for extended periods.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and substance screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Code 14 heavy goods vehicle for inter-provincial routes.
• Ensure safe, timely delivery of cargo across South Africa.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Load/unload goods safely and ensure proper weight distribution.
• Maintain records of driving hours, mileage, and deliveries.
• Communicate route status and delays to dispatch.
