Qualifications

• Code 10 driver's license with PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a professional heavy vehicle driver.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Code 10 vehicle for local and long-distance deliveries, ensuring the secure transport of goods.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any mechanical issues and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during all operations.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents encountered.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pick-up operations, representing the company professionally.
• Collaborate effectively with the dispatch team to manage schedules and route optimizations.
