The President Hotel is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation, and we are creating a new opportunity for a skilled Cocktail Bartender to join our vibrant Deck Bar team. We are looking for a charismatic, service‑driven bartender with a strong passion for mixology, luxury hospitality, and guest experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced hotel environment and takes pride in delivering memorable moments through exceptional drinks and polished service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverages in line with hotel standards
• Deliver warm, engaging, and professional guest service at all times
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation behind the bar
• Upsell beverages and promote specials to maximise revenue
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations
• Handle guest queries and complaints confidently and professionally
• Support events, activations, and themed evenings in collaboration with the F&B team

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2—3 years bartending experience in a luxury hotel, cocktail bar, or high‑end restaurant
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and mixology techniques
• Excellent communication skills and a natural guest‑focused approach
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism
• Strong attention to detail and presentation
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling
• Barista or wine knowledge advantageous
