Job summary

3R Consulting Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for our clients’ machining centre in Sandbach, Cheshire. The candidate should have a solid machining background with a bias toward milling and drilling, and apprenticeship-style training is preferred.

You will bring programming experience and familiarity with CNC tools and controllers. Essential skills include reading engineering drawings, using measuring equipment, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Ability to use measuring equipment.
• Experience working within a fast paced engineering environment.
• Good communications skills at all levels.
• Works well under pressure.
• IT literate.
• Prepared to work shift rotas.

Responsibilities

• Programming experience in CNC machining tools (machining centres or CNC lathes).
• Familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens Machine Controllers is an advantage.
• Basic 38 hour working week with shift rotas as required.
