Our client in the telecom sector is looking for a CMDB and 3PP Configuration Engineer on a contract duration of 5 months.

The CMDB and 3PP Configuration Engineer is responsible for managing the configuration of IT services and third‑party products within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This role ensures accurate, secure and compliant configuration data across internal systems and external integrations. The engineer plays a critical role in maintaining service integrity, supporting audits and enabling efficient change and incident management.

Experience and Skills

• 4 years of experience in configuration management infrastructure engineering or IT operations.
• Strong experience with CMDB platforms (e.g. ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
• Familiarity with third‑party software lifecycle and vendor management.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g. Python, PowerShell) and automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management principles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing configuration data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced high‑compliance environment.
