Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment invites an experienced Wave Owner to lead cloud migration waves from planning through to post-migration support. You will own end-to-end delivery, coordinating across infrastructure, applications, and business teams to ensure successful server migrations into the cloud.

The role requires strong coordination, risk management, and governance capabilities, with exposure to Azure migration tooling and hybrid/enterprise cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years delivering enterprise infrastructure or cloud migration projects.
• Proven experience coordinating server migration and cutover activities in large enterprises.
• Strong understanding of cloud migration methodologies and lifecycles.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end migration lifecycle for servers within your group.
• Coordinate migration planning with infrastructure, application, and business teams.
• Engage with Platform Architecture teams to approve designs and resolve issues.
• Mobilise execution teams to develop detailed cutover plans.
• Lead cutover planning workshops and post-cutover hypercare activities.
• Track progress against milestones and provide regular governance reporting.
