We at PBT Group are looking for a Cloud Data Engineer with hands‑on experience in Azure or GCP cloud technologies to join our consulting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize cloud‑native data pipelines using Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks) or GCP (Dataflow, BigQuery, Pub/Sub)
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data
• Develop scalable APIs and microservices to support data access and integration
• Enhance system performance and observability using tools like Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, and OpenTelemetry
• Ensure data security and governance through reviews, automated testing, and compliance practices
• Support CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using GitHub Actions, Terraform, Bicep, or Deployment Manager

Qualifications and Experience

• 4+ years of professional experience in cloud data engineering or backend development
• Solid experience deploying and operating data workloads on Azure or GCP
• Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL/NoSQL databases, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with REST/gRPC APIs, microservices, and event‑driven architecture
• Experience with Python or Java for data transformation and orchestration
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments
• Bonus: Experience with Apache Spark, Airflow, or dbt
