Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a role-based specialist to manage DevOps, cloud operations, and software development within digital product teams.

You will oversee projects, research data trends, and contribute to the roadmap while delivering new and enhanced applications that meet customer needs and business requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps, cloud operations and software development.
• Familiarity with Python and R or similar programming languages.
• Experience supervising junior colleagues for 7–12 months.

• Research and interpret data, trends, and benchmarks relevant to digital products/services design
• Product/Service Development
• Solve known problems and/or deliver defined outcomes by performing designated development/engineering activities using existing systems
• Technical Developments Recommendation
• Research and suggest technical developments to improve quality of the portal/applications/software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users’ needs
• Application Software Development
• Develop existing applications and contribute to development of new applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement
• Develop new routine applications to meet customer requirements
• Application Software Roadmap
• Contribute to and maintain road map to facilitate application software development and ensure the development work is prioritized in line with business requirements
• Testing IT Performance
• Perform applications software tests and respond to user emails to monitor, diagnose, and correct performance issues
• Customer Needs/Experience Research
• Support customer and market research by performing customer and market research and analysis techniques
• Digital Vision and Strategy
• Support strategy formulation for digital by exploring how information technology can be used to help the organization become more responsive to customer needs and changing business requirements
• Data-driven Product and Service Improvement
• Support data-driven analysis to identify opportunities for product/service improvement
• New Websites Design and Delivery
• Design, schedule, build, and deliver new and enhanced applications to achieve the agreed plan in terms of quality, cost, and timing and create an engaging application

• Work experience acquired should encompass Devops & Cloud operations, SW development and also be experienced in associated languages ie. Phython, R Etc.
• Experience of general supervision of more junior colleagues (7 to 12 months)
