Key Purpose

The Clinic Administrator will be responsible for managing all administration and supporting the Nurse at onsite clinic(s) for our clients in line with the clinics' agreed operating hours. The services provided at the onsite clinics will encompass Primary Health Care Services or Occupational Health Care Services or a combination of both.

Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments to optimize the clinic workflow and minimize patient wait times
  • Updating, organising and securing store medical files to ensure quick and accurate access for health care professionals
  • Overseeing waiting areas
  • Acting as a liaison between patients, medical staff and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and service delivery
  • Monitoring supplies (stock, consumables), ensuring timely procurement and maintaining accurate inventory levels
  • Ensuring the clinic operates in compliance with the relevant healthcare regulations, policies and standards
  • Assisting medical personnel with administrative tasks
  • Addressing patient queries, resolving complaints and providing information about clinic services, policies and procedures
  • Compiling and submitting key reporting to management
  • Ordering stationery
  • Facilitating calibration, maintenance and repairs of clinical equipment
  • Managing and facilitating collection and disposal of medical waste
  • Assisting with administration required for incapacity support, case management and return to work coordination
