Placements24 is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Clinical Research Associate to join a Centurion-based clinical operations team. The role combines on-site monitoring with remote administrative tasks, within a hybrid model that supports travel to sites as required in Gauteng region and beyond.

You will monitor trial sites to ensure data accuracy, patient safety, and protocol compliance, while coordinating with investigators and study teams to maintain timelines and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate or in a similar clinical trial management role.
• Thorough understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in site monitoring, data verification, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits (initiation, monitoring, close-out) to assess data quality and integrity.
• Ensure compliance with study Protocols, regulatory requirements (ICH-GCP) and SOPs.
• Verify source documents, patient records, and investigational product accountability.
• Train and support site staff on trial procedures and protocol requirements.
• Manage and resolve site-specific issues and escalate as necessary.
• Maintain accurate trial documentation, including visit reports and queries.
• Communicate with investigators, study coordinators, and project teams.
• Oversee progress of trials at assigned sites, ensuring timelines and budgets.
