The Role

Clinical Program Strategy and Design Lead (CPSDL)

The Clinical Program Strategy and Design Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative health programs that blend digital health, AI-enabled coaching, and in-person services. This role bridges clinical expertise, systems thinking, program design, and analytics to ensure measurable improvements in health outcomes, efficiency, and member experience. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will design evidence-based, human-centered, and scalable programs for diverse populations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of digital health coaching programs from concept through to scale.
  • Translate clinical guidelines into structured care models, pathways, and service flows.
  • Apply human-centered design principles to co-create solutions with members and providers.
  • Integrate evidence-based protocols, digital tools, and AI-enabled coaching into care pathways.
  • Develop engaging curricula, content, and coaching flows across multiple formats.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, UX, data, operations, and research teams.
  • Establish and track program KPIs on outcomes, engagement, retention, and cost impact.
  • Drive continuous learning, quality assurance, and risk management in program delivery.
  • Represent program strategy in external partnerships and stakeholder engagements.
  • Provide strategic leadership on new program opportunities (e.g., women's health, oncology, chronic disease).
About You
  • Advanced degree in medicine (MD, Nurse Practitioner NP, PharmD).
  • Additional postgraduate degree (MBA, MPH, or MS in Public Health/Health Behaviour).
  • 6-10+ years experience in program strategy, curriculum development, population health, or implementation science.
  • Proven ability to translate global/local guidelines into scalable health programs.
  • Strong grounding in behaviour change science (goal-setting, motivational interviewing, habit design).
  • Previous experience in digital health, telehealth, or tech-enabled coaching.
  • Demonstrated people management, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical ability with a track record of evidence-based decision-making.
Nice-to-Have
  • Exposure to instructional design or UX principles.
  • Familiarity with GDPR/HIPAA, ISO standards, or similar compliance frameworks.
  • Experience managing external content creators.
  • Prior engagement with funders, payers, or regulatory stakeholders.
