A leading not-for-profit organization in Newcastle is seeking a part-time Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide clinical support and mentoring in an Aged Care Home. This role includes responsibilities in clinical assessments, care plan development, and leadership to ensure high-quality care. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience and postgraduate qualifications in aged care, with opportunities for specialization and professional development.

As the Clinical Nurse Specialist you will be responsible for providing high-level clinical support and assessment for residents while also providing clinical leadership support and mentoring for Registered Nurses in the Aged Care Home. You will use your clinical expertise leadership and clear communication skills to assist with the provision of high-quality clinical care.
With a strong understanding of quality clinical care you will lead inspire and educate care professionals to promote continual improvement of clinical care in the Aged Care Home. This role offers the opportunity to specialize in a clinical area such as palliative and dementia care while also providing a high level of general clinical expertise.
