A healthcare institution in Alberton, South Africa, seeks a Clinical Facilitator to enhance the competencies of nursing staff through effective training and development interventions. A suitable candidate will possess a Professional Nurse qualification, relevant experience, and a commitment to fostering continuous professional development. This is a permanent on-site position.
Clinical Facilitator
The Clinical Facilitator plans and facilitates identified training and development interventions to ensure competency of all staff. They can be allocated to a specialist unit (e.g. the ICU) or work across the nursing units of a hospital.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Professional Nurse qualification, and Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Education OR 3 years experience as a mentor, and Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing if a Clinical Facilitator in a specialist unit (e.g. Perioperative Nursing) and a certificate of competence in Generic Assessment (Assessor course).
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
3 years of Professional Nurse experience in a hospital; 1 year of mentor experience.
