Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Clinical Data Specialist to join the Clinical Data Management (CDM) team in Bloemfontein, South Africa. The role involves data management support, post-lock activities such as eArchiving and hyperlinking, and ensuring adherence to standard procedures to deliver quality data products.

You will interact with global teams, perform data reviews, and may occasionally back up a SME or PLA Lead. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical, biological or mathematical sciences or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience in lieu of degree.
• Medical terminology exposure; excellent organizational, communication, leadership and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Clinical Data Specialist with guidance.
• Perform post lock activities (eArchiving, Hyperlinking).
• Follow standard user manuals and working instructions.
• Conduct comprehensive quality control procedures.
• Adhere to timelines set by PLA Lead.
• May conduct data review.
• Coordinate timelines and responsibilities with team members.
• Foster communication with global eArchiving team and management.
• Prepare files for regulatory submission and site audits.
• May back up SME or PLA Lead.
