Job summary

Old Mutual Limited in Jeffreys Bay invites applications for a Clients Relations Consultant. You will deliver a positive customer experience, provide product information, record interactions, and direct customers to the right channel per procedures.

You will handle orders, resolve issues, build relationships with prospects, and maintain CRM data to support retention and business development. The role requires listening, probing questions, and opportunities to upsell while ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 4 - Grade 12 or equivalent.
• National/Occupational Certificate where applicable.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced product/service information.
• Record and process customer orders, selecting the most appropriate approach based on predefined options.
• Resolve basic and advanced customer issues, such as returns, exchanges, and complaints; escalate appropriately.
• Make calls (by telephone or in person) to allocated potential customers to develop relationships.
• Enter relevant information into the CRM system after each contact with a customer to ensure data quality.
• Interview the customer to clarify requirements using a multilevel sales script.
• Provide exceptional service to customers to encourage continued use of products/services.
• Develop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and regulatory codes.
