Account Executive

Location: Onsite - Hout Bay / Southern Suburbs - Cape Town

The Role

Due to expansion, we are looking for a results-driven Account Executive to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the CEO with managing and growing client accounts, attending meetings and presentations with the CEO, assisting him in building strong relationships, and ensuring that their coaching programmes deliver lasting impact.

You will be at the forefront of the client engagement process by assisting the CEO to partner with business leaders to understand their challenges, craft coaching solutions, and ensuring a seamless client journey from first contact to programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Client Success

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by proactively managing expectations and following up on programme impact.

Business Development & Sales

  • Attend meetings with the CEO and identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to craft tailored proposals and presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage the proposal-to-close process.

Project Coordination

  • Liaise between clients, coaches, and operations to ensure smooth programme delivery.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.

Reporting & Insights

  • Monitor account performance and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to the coaching team to continuously improve client outcomes.
Skills & Experience
  • 2–4 years’ experience in account management, client services, or business development (preferably in professional services, consulting, training, or coaching).
  • Maturity and desire to manage multiple client relationships and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Comfortable with CRM systems (HubSpot experience a plus).
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to help identify and close opportunities.
