Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Specialist markets such as Specialist liability and D&O.
  • Must have RE 5 CPD and be FAIS compliant.

Overview

Company: Marsh

Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Consumer & Commercial team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Cape Town hybrid and has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Responsibilities
  • Daily interaction with Sales Professionals / Insurers / Administrators / Clients regarding claims underwriting and renewals
  • Ensure claims underwriting and technical delivery standards are implemented and maintained
  • Ensure renewals is done timeously and agreed with Insurers within 60 days in advance
  • Ensure claims rejection is fair and in accordance with scope of cover
  • Facilitate the Audit process to ensure all gaps for risk is mitigated i.e adhere to CE and CFP Principles
  • Financial reporting (Budget and forecasting)
  • Responsible for Financial aspects facilitation of the allocation of commissions with Finance to ensure accurate and timeous allocation. Generate statements and resolution of com queries
  • New and Expanded Business: Participate effectively in cross selling / upselling initiatives to assist the Team of Professionals to meet new / expanded sales targets and Retention of clients
  • Effective Retention of clients by building relationships ensuring SLAs are maintained and prompt resolution of escalations
  • Keep abreast with the local insurance markets
  • Fostering of sound working relationships with other functional business units Insurers administrators and Sales
  • Adhere to all Marsh compliance policies business practices and training requirements
  • Client Portfolio is managed effectively
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5-year appropriate experience in the commercial client service environment
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Specialist markets i.e Specialist liability D & O Cyber
  • Relevant formal qualification
  • Must have RE 5 CPD as per requirement & Must be FAIS compliant as per DOFA
  • Excel word and power point
  • Commercial Insurance Brokerage experience
  • Must have a valid drivers licence and reliable transportation
