The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site operations, ensuring that work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Supervise cleaning, maintenance, and operational activities in industrial environments, including power stations.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality, adherence to schedules, and compliance with operational procedures.
- Prepare and maintain site reports, logs, and documentation, including safety and progress reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and other site personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify potential hazards and implement risk mitigation measures, in line with HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment) guidelines.
- Enforce legal compliance and company policies on-site, including management of legal liability issues.
- Mentor and guide site personnel, ensuring professional development and adherence to safety and operational standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Site Management or relevant discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience managing sites in power stations, heavy industry, or industrial cleaning projects.
- Certifications: M (Management Level 3) Legal Liability Certificate; HIRA Certificate (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of industrial health, safety, and environmental regulations.
